The details

Exceptional antique Moxie Nerve Food bottle dating to approximately 1904–1910, mouth-blown in striking aqua glass with bold embossed advertising, a tooled crown finish, and a clearly marked B6 base. This early Moxie bottle combines strong blue-aqua color, crisp embossing and outstanding preservation, making it an especially impressive example for collectors of Moxie memorabilia, antique soda bottles, historic advertising and early American glass. Professionally packed for fragile shipment. Ships next business day. Full refund if damaged in transit. This Moxie Nerve Food bottle is a mouth-blown, mold-made example in natural aqua to blue-green aqua glass, finished with a tooled crown top. The front is embossed in bold lettering: TRADE MARK / MOXIE / NERVE / FOOD / REGISTERED. The reverse shoulder is embossed MOXIE, and the base carries the embossed designation B6. B6 is the base/mold marking observed on this bottle; it is a mold designation and not a date code, so the c. 1904–1910 date range here is based on the bottle's construction and style. For collectors of the Moxie Nerve Food bottle, this is an early-production piece that shows the features that make antique Moxie bottles so appealing: the strong aqua color, the deeply struck embossing, the tooled crown finish, and the hand-finished character that comes with mouth-blown glass. The B6 base adds a variation for those who like to study and compare Moxie bottle molds. Moxie began as a patent medicine "nerve food" before becoming one of America's best-known soda brands, which is why the bottles draw interest from antique soda bottle, patent medicine, soda advertising and antique advertising collectors alike. Condition is Near Mint. The bottle presents exceptionally well, with strong embossing, an attractive aqua color and excellent clarity. Normal period characteristics such as tiny glass bubbles, tooling marks, striations and other manufacturing irregularities are original to the glass and are part of how a mouth-blown bottle of this age is made; they are not damage. No chips, cracks, haze or repairs are noted. Please review the photographs closely, as they are part of the description. The bottle is a strong display piece for a shelf, window or advertising collection, and it pairs naturally with other early crown top soda bottles, Moxie memorabilia and early 1900s patent medicine glass. Specs: Moxie Nerve Food; aqua / blue-green aqua glass; mouth-blown, mold-made; tooled crown finish; front embossed TRADE MARK / MOXIE / NERVE / FOOD / REGISTERED; reverse shoulder embossed MOXIE; base embossed B6; c. 1904–1910; Near Mint.
