The details
Genuine antique Billy Baxter 10 oz soda bottle in attractive aqua-green glass, featuring raised embossed script lettering and the classic tall ten-pin / bowling-pin style bottle shape used for early soda and beverage advertising. This example is embossed “Billy Baxter” around the lower body, with “10 FL OZ” below the lettering. The base is marked with a circled P, associated with Pierce Glass, along with an AU 6 / AU 9 style base code. The bottle has strong collector appeal because of its old soda advertising look, clean aqua-green color, heavy glass base, and display-friendly shape. Billy Baxter was an early beverage brand associated with soda, ginger ale, root beer, sarsaparilla, quinine water, and other soft drinks. Bottles like this are popular with collectors of antique soda bottles, embossed advertising glass, country store displays, vintage bar decor, and early American beverage history. Condition is excellent for its age. The bottle has no cracks and no major chips observed. The embossing is strong and readable, the glass color is very appealing, and the bottle displays well from all sides. There is light interior haze, age residue, minor surface wear, and normal case wear consistent with an authentic used antique soda bottle. Please review all photos closely, as they are part of the description. A strong display piece for a bottle collector, soda advertising collector, bar shelf, country store display, farmhouse kitchen, man cave, restaurant decor, or antique glass collection. Approximate size: 10 oz bottle, about 8 inches tall.
