The details

Atlantic Mold Potato Form Covered Dish, Novelty Lidded Potato Container, Studio Pottery Sculptural Ceramic, Signed 1981. Compact, novelty-form covered container sculpted to resemble a potato, finished in a warm prairie-tone glaze with organic surface variation. Professionally packed for fragile shipment. Ships next business day. Full refund if damaged in transit. Handcrafted from an Atlantic Mold form and studio-finished by the decorator, this 1981 signed piece blends functional storage with sculptural farmhouse appeal. The freeform lid seats cleanly, interior is fully glazed, and the naturalistic vegetable shape makes it ideal for shelf styling, kitchen vignette display, or whimsical countertop storage. A classic example of late-century hobby ceramics where form, glaze movement, and hand-finishing create one-of-a-kind character rather than factory uniformity. Displays well alone or grouped with rustic stoneware and country kitchen décor. Approx. Size: 8.5” W × 6” D × 5” H Maker (Mold): Atlantic Mold Decorator: E. Flagg Date: 1981 Material: Ceramic / Glazed Stoneware Origin: USA Studio Ceramics Condition: Clean interior, lid seats properly, no structural damage observed.
