Corning Visions V-30-B 24 oz Casserole Bowl

The details

Corning Visions amber casserole bowl, model V-30-B, 24 oz / 750 mL. This listing is for the bowl only; no lid is included. The base is embossed with the Visions logo, V-30-B, 24 OZ 750 mL, CORNING USA, and OVEN MICROWAVE RANGE TOP FREEZER. Visions was Corning's line of see-through cookware and bakeware, sold in the United States from the early 1980s. It is made from a heat-resistant transparent glass-ceramic rather than ordinary glass, which is why the base is marked for range top as well as oven, microwave, and freezer use. Amber is the classic Visions color, and the line has a strong following among 1980s kitchenware collectors and everyday cooks. This dish is in excellent condition. The glass is clear and crack-free with no chips. The amber color is even and rich throughout. Oven safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. A fully functional piece that works beautifully in daily use or as a display piece in a Corning Visions collection. A natural replacement piece for an existing Visions set, or a starting point for a new collection. Also makes a thoughtful gift for a Corning collector, a retro kitchenware enthusiast, or a home baker who appreciates quality vintage glass bakeware.
