What you receive

A classic wedding invitation suite with the quiet confidence of old letterpress work: generous spacing, traditional serif lettering and an original line drawing of a brick textile mill. Edit the invitation, reply card, QR reply card and details card in Google Slides, then print at home or through a print shop. This is an editable digital template; no physical cards are shipped. The Historic Cotton Mill suite was drawn for couples marrying at restored mills, industrial lofts, old warehouses, country estates and other places with a past. Every card is set in soft charcoal and framed by a fine double rule with small corner diamonds. The invitation is crowned with our original illustration inspired by the brick textile mills of the American South, and the enclosure cards carry its bell tower as a small mark. The look is letterpress-inspired and made to print beautifully on ivory or cream cardstock with an ordinary home or print-shop printer; it is not printed by traditional letterpress. After purchase you will download three PDFs: a Start Here page with your two template links, an illustrated editing and printing guide, and a one-page print and export quick card. Open each link, click Make a copy, and the copy saved to your own Google Drive is yours to edit as often as you like while the original stays untouched. Every word is editable, including names, date, time, venue, address, reply-by date, hotel details and website. Find and replace changes the sample names and venue on every card at once, and the borders and artwork are locked into the card design so they stay aligned while you work. Two reply options are included. The classic reply card has fill-in lines for guests to write their names, accept or decline, give their number attending and note any dietary needs. The QR reply card holds the QR code for your own RSVP page; replace our sample code with yours using Replace image, and the guide shows each step. A computer is required for editing: you need a free Google account and a Windows, Mac or Chromebook computer with a web browser. Editing on a phone or tablet has not been tested and is not supported. There is no software to buy and no fonts to install, because EB Garamond and Cormorant Garamond are built into Google Slides. To print, download each card as a PDF (File > Download > PDF) and print at Actual size or 100% on ivory or cream cardstock, 80 to 110 lb cover. Use matching-size cardstock, print on US Letter and trim, or send the PDF to a print shop. The guide covers paper, settings and trimming in detail.
