The details
Striking vintage hand-blown studio art glass cornucopia vase featuring dramatic free-form construction and rich layered ribboning in warm orange, cream, blue, and smoke gray. The sculptural horn-of-plenty form makes this an immediate statement piece for display or collection. This vintage studio art glass vase was hand blown and shaped using traditional free-form glassmaking techniques, resulting in an asymmetrical, sculptural profile intended to be viewed from all angles. The elongated curled horn handle is pulled and applied by hand, while the body displays flowing cased glass bands with excellent depth and color saturation. The piece reflects late 20th-century American studio glass traditions, favoring artistic expression over factory uniformity. Solid, well balanced, and visually substantial, it presents beautifully as a standalone centerpiece on a mantel, shelf, or table. The surface retains a clean, glossy finish with no chips, cracks, or repairs observed, making it a strong example for collectors of vintage studio and sculptural art glass. Approximate size: 10 inches tall, 12 inches wide, 9 inches deep. Vintage, circa 1980s–1990s. Material: hand blown glass. Unsigned, as commonly found with studio art glass. Packed with care and shipped insured. Every piece leaves our shop protected to arrive safely.
