Vintage 1952 NuGrape Soda Bottle 6 oz Green ACL Duraglas Owens Illinois National NuGrape Co Atlanta GA D-130075 Advertising Glass

The details

Original 1952 NuGrape Soda 6 oz advertising bottle in aqua-green Duraglas with its original yellow applied-color-label graphics. This distinctive bottle features the classic NuGrape Soda script logo on the front with “Imitation Grape Flavor” wording, while the reverse identifies National NuGrape Co., Atlanta, Georgia and states the 6 fluid ounce capacity. The bottle carries the patented D-130075 design and the period Duraglas / Owens-Illinois markings associated with its 1952 manufacture. The form is especially recognizable for its three-ring neck, tapered shoulders, embossed lower-body details, and rich green-aqua glass. The contrast between the translucent glass and surviving yellow ACL graphics gives the bottle strong display presence and makes it an excellent piece of mid-century soft-drink advertising. The painted label remains highly readable on both sides, with visible age-related wear and loss consistent with an original bottle that has survived more than seventy years. The glass also shows normal surface wear, haze, staining, and other signs of age and use. Please review all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description and show the exact bottle being offered. A strong addition to a collection of NuGrape memorabilia, vintage soda bottles, ACL bottles, Owens-Illinois glass, Duraglas bottles, Southern advertising, Atlanta advertising, beverage memorabilia, or mid-century advertising glass.
