The details

Vintage McCoy Pillsbury Doughboy Cookie Jar 1970s Ceramic Character Pottery USA Original McCoy Pillsbury Doughboy cookie jar in classic white glaze with cobalt blue eyes and red spoon detail. Professionally packed for fragile shipment. Ships next business day. Full refund if damaged in transit. A highly recognizable licensed American character jar produced by McCoy Pottery in the early–mid 1970s and offered here with its original matching lid. This authentic McCoy USA example features the well-known Doughboy chef figure with rounded 1970s modeling, glossy white glaze, and factory crazing throughout, all consistent with documented McCoy production from this period rather than earlier mid-century lines. The jar shows no restoration and retains strong display presence and original character definition. Condition notes: there is a visible vertical hairline crack running from the rim downward on one side and a small area of glaze loss/chip at the rim. Both are clearly shown in the photos. The crack appears stable and does not affect display integrity; however, due to age and condition, this piece is best suited for display or collection rather than everyday functional use. McCoy character cookie jars remain among the most desirable categories of American pottery, and licensed Pillsbury Doughboy examples are increasingly difficult to find with original lids intact. A solid collector-grade piece for a McCoy collection, vintage kitchen display, or nostalgic Americana décor. Approx. height: ~8.5 inches Maker: McCoy USA Era: circa early–mid 1970s Material: glazed ceramic pottery Packed with care and shipped insured. Every piece leaves our shop protected to arrive safely.
