Vintage Robinson Ransbottom RRP Blue Spongeware Pitcher & Basin Set, Farmhouse Stoneware Vintage Robinson Ransbottom blue spongeware pitcher and matching basin set, a classic American farmhouse stoneware wash set with the desirable bulb-form pitcher and traditional blue sponge decoration. This authentic mid-century spongeware set was produced by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery in Roseville, Ohio and features the timeless blue sponge pattern over a warm cream stoneware glaze. The rounded bulb-form pitcher with wide pouring lip and comfortable handle pairs beautifully with the coordinating basin bowl, creating the classic farmhouse wash set look that collectors and decorators seek for primitive kitchens, country homes, and rustic displays. Spongeware pottery like this became especially popular in American homes during the mid-20th century due to its durability and simple handmade aesthetic.
