The details
Genuine Fenton Silver Crest — Silver Crest was one of Fenton's most enduring lines — produced from 1943 through the 1970s — and remains among the most actively collected American art glass patterns. Professionally packed for fragile shipment. Ships next business day. Full refund if damaged in transit. This compote features the full Silver Crest treatment: glossy white milk glass body with the applied clear crest around the ruffled edge. The crest is fully intact with no pulls, chips, or separation from the rim. The pedestal base is solid with no chips or cracks. This is a working piece with no damage, not a "decorator only" example. Silver Crest compotes appear in antique malls and decorator shops regularly, but condition on the applied crest — especially across the ruffled edge — varies widely. The crest chips easily. This one does not have that problem. Fenton made Silver Crest across multiple production eras; no factory backstamp is present, consistent with most pieces from the 1950s–early 1960s runs. Display use: Compotes this size work as a candy dish, fruit bowl centerpiece, or standalone display on a mantel, sideboard, or curio shelf. Pairs cleanly with other Fenton milk glass pieces. Color: White milk glass with clear applied crest Dimensions: Approx. 6" diameter × 4.5" tall (pedestal base) Condition: Excellent — no chips, no cracks, crest fully intact, no cloudiness Origin: Fenton Art Glass Co., Williamstown, West Virginia Packed with care and shipped insured. Every piece leaves our shop protected to arrive safely.
