Authentic antique Ball Triple-L MASON half-gallon fruit jar in attractive aqua-blue glass, dating to approximately 1900–1910.
This strong display example combines the large half-gallon form with early Ball Triple-L script, block MASON embossing, a smooth-lip Mason shoulder-seal profile, numerous seed bubbles, substantial glass movement, blue-green color concentration near the base and a pronounced circular base swirl.
The capital B has a crude, strongly formed character that can resemble an R from certain angles. It is accurately offered as a character-rich Triple-L MASON mold variation, not as the separately cataloged Rall or Looped Rall variation.
The jar includes a period-compatible aged zinc screw lid with oxidation, darkening, patina and surface wear. Antique lids were commonly interchanged, so the closure is not guaranteed as the exact lid originally paired with this body.
Condition: Very good antique collectible condition. No cracks or major chips were observed during inspection. Expected age and manufacturing characteristics include light scratches, minor surface wear, seed bubbles, glass waviness, mold irregularities and scattered storage marks. Review every photograph closely; the images show the exact jar offered.
Sold as an antique collectible and display piece, not for modern food preservation or active canning use. Packed carefully and shipped insured.
