Charming mid-century children’s toy tool chest made by The Ohio Art Company of Bryan, Ohio. This tin litho box originally came with “safe vinyl tools” — designed for young builders in the postwar era. Features bold red, yellow, and green graphics of tools, a classic handle, and the playful “Busy Boy” logo on the lid.
Interior has the bright lime-green finish with the Ohio Art globe mark and “Rubber-Like Vinyl Tools – Safe • Soft • Non-Marking” printed inside. Excellent display piece for a workshop, man cave, toy collection, or industrial décor. Moderate wear and patina consistent with age, which adds to its vintage charm.
