This authentic Savannah dairy bottle is a particularly strong surviving example, combining regional Georgia history, pictorial advertising and desirable applied-color-label decoration.

Produced in 1944, this machine-made clear glass quart bottle dates to the World War II era, when local dairies used colorful bottle graphics to promote milk, nutrition and family health. Harms’ Dairy was a documented Savannah dairy associated with Oakhurst Farm and issued several collectible pictorial bottle designs during the 1940s.

Condition
This bottle is in exceptional near-mint collector condition.
The glass is clean and sound with no chips, cracks, bruises or repairs. The original green ACL remains strong, detailed and highly legible. There is only slight age-related fading to portions of the decoration, with no major graphic loss.
Minor manufacturing irregularities and light evidence of age may be visible under close examination, as expected on an original 1944 commercial milk bottle. Please review every photograph carefully for the exact condition.
The white material shown inside the bottle in several photographs was used only to make the green graphics easier to see. The bottle is sold empty, and photographs of the empty bottle are included to document the glass and interior condition.
