Original antique apothecary Milk of Magnesia bottle in rich blue glass, produced by The Chas. H. Phillips Chemical Co. Early 20th-century example with crisp embossing and the correct original metal screw cap. A classic piece of American pharmaceutical history that displays exceptionally well.
This authentic early Milk of Magnesia bottle dates to the early 20th century, circa 1910–1925, and was manufactured by The Chas. H. Phillips Chemical Co. of Glenbrook, Connecticut, one of the most recognized names in American medical and pharmaceutical history. The bottle features a squared apothecary form, bold embossed lettering, and the Phillips shield emblem, all molded in attractive blue glass that catches light beautifully on display. It retains its original metal screw cap, an important detail for collectors. Condition is original and unrestored with normal age-appropriate wear, light surface marks, and oxidation to the cap consistent with age. No cracks or repairs observed. This is a strong, honest example suitable for collectors of antique medicine bottles, apothecary décor, pharmacy displays, or industrial farmhouse interiors.
