Early underlined script Ball Mason quart (1910–1923) in unusually rich deep teal aqua, preserved in near mint condition with exceptional clarity and embossing. Professionally packed for fragile shipment. Ships next business day. Full refund if damaged in transit.
This is a superior early machine-era example featuring the desirable pre-1923 underlined Ball script with crisp letter definition and strong footed “A.” The glass displays pronounced teal saturation with noticeable green depth in the heel, producing dramatic color pooling and vivid light refraction under natural light. Heavy glass distribution, natural seed bubbles, and authentic flow character confirm early production while adding visual depth and movement. The base retains clear East Liverpool plant mark (“E”) and mold number consistent with the period. Condition is exceptional for a jar of this age — rim is clean, threads intact, no chips, no cracks, no bruises, and no interior staining observed. Embossing remains sharp and fully defined. While underlined script quarts are standard production for the era, finding an example with this level of color intensity, glass character, and preservation is increasingly uncommon. A high eye-appeal century-old display piece suited for advanced collectors or refined farmhouse, primitive, and early American interiors.
