Rare turn-of-the-century Hammer & Hirzel “Turkish Attar of Roses” perfume flask from Constantinople. These were luxury rose-oil containers exported to Europe and America circa 1890–1910, wrapped in hand-stitched khaki felt with red wax authenticity seals and factory batch numbers stenciled on the face. The paper label reads Hammer & Hirzel, Constantinople – Turkish Attar of Roses.
Excellent survivor from the late Ottoman perfume trade — a genuine export artifact of the early global fragrance industry. Still retains its red wax seals, original stitched neck, and legible label. Very hard to find in any condition. Perfect display for apothecary, perfume, or antique travel collections.
