Antique felt-covered perfume or attar flask retaining a paper label identifying Hammer & Hirzel, Constantinople and Turkish Attar of Roses.
The maker/product/location attribution is retained because it is supported by the photographed label. Current independent research confirms the historic Constantinople trade in Turkish attar of roses but has not established a reliable company chronology for Hammer & Hirzel sufficient to assign this exact flask to c.1890–1910.
The stitched felt covering, label, neck treatment and red wax remnants are visible features of this example; they are not described as factory authenticity seals without documentary support. Please review all photographs for label wording, textile condition, closure, wax, staining and exact condition.
