Step back to the industrial age with this genuine Hemingray H.G. Co. glass insulator featuring the PATENT MAY 2 1893 embossing and sharp drip-point base. Molded from thick aqua glass in a petticoat design, its deep aqua-green color and prism-like drip points were crafted to shed rain off telegraph lines. Measuring about 3.75 inches tall and 3 inches wide, this early insulator retains crisp lettering and shows minor base scuffs and bubbles from the manufacturing process—no cracks or chips.
