Rare identified Kodel Radio Corp. Cincinnati, Ohio battery-era carrier from the late 1920s, originally used with a trickle charger / battery maintenance kit during the early home radio age. Professionally packed for fragile shipment. Ships next business day. Full refund if damaged in transit. Authentic antique industrial piece with strong collector, garage, office, workshop, and man cave appeal.

A genuine survivor from America’s early radio boom, this wooden carrier is associated with Kodel’s battery charging accessories and Kuprox trickle rechargers produced in Cincinnati during the late 1920s. Marked “I.C. 19 ELECTROLYTE 8 OZ.” with original Kodel side label, it would have housed battery electrolyte and charging components used to maintain radio storage batteries before modern household power systems became standard.

Features hand-built solid wood construction, divided interior compartments, original black stencil lettering, broad metal reinforcing band, aged leather swing strap, and rich untouched patina throughout. The original leather strap is a notable survivor, as these were commonly damaged or missing over time. This piece blends primitive craftsmanship, early electrical history, and strong industrial design in one authentic object.

Excellent for shelf decor, desk storage, garage display, antique radio collections, automotive themed decor, rustic interiors, farmhouse spaces, or conversation-piece display. Far more distinctive than a standard decorative box due to its real-world purpose, readable markings, and identifiable maker history.

Condition shows honest age and use: leather cracking/wear, label wear/loss, scuffs, staining, edge wear, oxidation to hardware, and surface marks consistent with age. Structurally solid with outstanding character. Sold as found. Please review photos carefully.
