Carnival glass was produced in the United States primarily between 1907 and the 1920s as an affordable iridescent alternative to expensive art glass, and the marigold colorway — golden amber with a full iridescent surface — is both the most common and the most versatile for display and use. The diamond-cut pressed pattern on this tray gives it strong graphic presence, and the iridescence shows especially well in natural light and photographed settings. A functional serving piece with genuine collector standing.
Condition: Excellent. Iridescent finish strong and consistent. No chips or cracks. Pattern crisp.
Dimensions: Oval serving tray form. Marigold iridescent carnival glass. Early 1900s American production.
