Beautiful 2-gallon Marshall Pottery butter churn with the original matching lid — real Southern stoneware with that farmhouse look everyone wants right now. Displays perfectly on the floor, beside a Hoosier, or in a primitive kitchen vignette.
This is an authentic Marshall, Texas stoneware churn, likely 1930s–1950s, with classic double cobalt blue bands, heavy salt/alkaline-style glaze, and the correct recessed lid opening for a dasher. The fact that the lid is still with it is the big value point — most old churns lost theirs. Body shows good wheel-thrown lines, shoulder is tight, glaze is clean, and there’s no obvious damage shown in the photos. This is exactly the kind of piece that fits farmhouse, rustic, country store, and Americana displays — but it’s also a legit collector-grade Marshall piece, not a repro.
