Rare 1915 Kerr Self Sealing Mason jar from the original Kerr Glass Manufacturing Company operation in Sand Springs, Oklahoma — one of the earliest and most collectible Kerr variants. The 1915 date places this jar in the founding era of the Kerr company, before the mass-production methods of the 1920s standardized their output.
The seed bubble glass throughout this jar is a defining characteristic of early production — air bubbles trapped in the glass during the molten stage that create unique visual texture and confirm the hand-finished nature of the piece. Original zinc lid with milk glass liner is intact and original to the jar.
