This is an AM TEL & TEL Co. glass insulator embossed ELMER N.J. — a scarce embossing variant associated with American Telephone & Telegraph's New Jersey production. The ice green color is natural to the glass batch, not a surface treatment, and reads beautifully in natural light. Elmer NJ-embossed pieces are a known target for serious embossing collectors, and this example presents in excellent condition with strong mold definition.
