This antique CD 145 glass insulator is embossed “H.C. CO.”, marking it as a product of the Hemingray & Company period — before the more commonly seen H.G. CO. These early beehives are known for their squat profile, rounded domes, and rougher glass characteristics.
Estimated to have been manufactured in the 1860s to early 1870s, this piece features beautiful aqua coloring, scattered bubbles, and a character-rich dome. Scarce embossing and early production make this a standout for collectors.
